📖 Leviticus 17: The Sanctity of Blood: Honoring Life God’s Way 

"Respecting God's design for life, worship, and holiness."

Aim: To recognize the sacredness of blood and life, and to understand how obedience reflects worship.

🕊️ God’s Attributes:

  • Holy and set apart

  • Life-Giver

  • Just and protective

  • Sovereign

📌 Facts:

  • Sacrifices must be brought to the Tent of Meeting (v.1–9)

  • Eating blood is strictly prohibited because blood represents life (v.10–14)

  • This command applied to both Israelites and foreigners (v.13–16)

📜 Three Ps:

Promise: Life is in the blood, and blood makes atonement for sin (v.11)
Principle: God sets sacred boundaries to protect life and preserve holiness
Prophecy: The importance of blood points forward to Christ's atoning sacrifice
