Aim

To reveal the significance of the seventh seal and the first four trumpet judgments, highlighting the consequences of sin, God's righteous judgment, and the need for repentance before His wrath is fully unleashed.

God’s Attributes in Revelation 8

  • Sovereign Judge – He executes divine judgment upon the earth (Rev 8:2).
  • Holy and Just – His judgments are righteous and fair (Rev 8:5).
  • Almighty in Power – His wrath shakes the heavens and the earth (Rev 8:7-12).
  • Attentive to Prayer – The prayers of the saints rise before Him (Rev 8:3-4).
  • Merciful – He gives opportunities for repentance even amidst judgment (Rev 8:13).

📌 The seventh seal is opened, bringing silence in heaven for about half an hour (Rev 8:1).
📌 An angel offers the prayers of the saints on the golden altar before God (Rev 8:3-4).
📌 Fire from the altar is thrown to the earth, causing thunder, lightning, and an earthquake (Rev 8:5).

✔ Trust in God’s justice – Evil will not go unpunished; God’s righteousness prevails.
✔ Be a light in dark times – While the world faces turmoil, we are called to shine with the hope of Christ.

Deed – Taking Action

🔥 Intercede for the world – Pray for the lost to come to repentance before judgment falls.
🔥 Encourage others to seek God – Use every opportunity to point people to salvation.
🔥 Live in holiness – Knowing God’s judgment is coming, live in a way that pleases Him.
🔥 Share the urgency of the gospel – People need to know that time is running out!

Prayer

Lord, I come before You in humility, knowing that Your judgment is righteous and true. Help me to remain faithful in prayer, to warn others of what is to come, and to live a life that brings glory to Your name. May my heart always be ready for Your return. Amen.
