God’s Attributes in Revelation 8
- Sovereign Judge – He executes divine judgment upon the earth (Rev 8:2).

- Almighty in Power – His wrath shakes the heavens and the earth (Rev 8:7-12).
- Attentive to Prayer – The prayers of the saints rise before Him (Rev 8:3-4).
- Merciful – He gives opportunities for repentance even amidst judgment (Rev 8:13).
Facts from Revelation 8

π Fire from the altar is thrown to the earth, causing thunder, lightning, and an earthquake (Rev 8:5).
π The first four trumpets unleash devastating judgments:
- First Trumpet – Hail and fire mixed with blood burn a third of the earth (Rev 8:7).
- Second Trumpet – A great mountain-like object falls into the sea, destroying a third of marine life and ships (Rev 8:8-9).
- Third Trumpet – A blazing star called Wormwood falls, poisoning a third of the rivers and springs (Rev 8:10-11).
- Fourth Trumpet – A third of the sun, moon, and stars are darkened (Rev 8:12).
π An eagle cries out a warning of even greater woes to come (Rev 8:13).
