Aim

To reflect on the call to generosity, the value of Spirit-enabled work, and the joy of contributing to God's dwelling place among His people.

God’s Attributes

  • Generous: Inspires generosity among His people.

  • Empowering: Fills individuals with wisdom and skill.

  • Present: Desires to dwell among His people.

Facts

  • God commands Moses to gather offerings for the Tabernacle.

  • Only those whose hearts were willing gave.

  • Skilled artisans, empowered by the Spirit, began the construction work.

Three Ps

  1. Provision: God's people give materials and skills for God’s work.

  2. Participation: Everyone—men and women—had a role to play.

  3. Presence: The Tabernacle, once complete, would house God's presence.

Insights

  • God doesn’t just ask for things—He gives first (wisdom, resources, ability) and then invites us to give back.

  • True worship includes generous giving and purposeful service.

  • The call wasn’t forced—“everyone whose heart was stirred.”

Application

  • God is still building His kingdom today and calling us to contribute our time, skills, and resources.

  • Whether through art, administration, giving, or prayer—our contribution matters.

Reflect on a skill or resource God has given you. How can you offer it to Him this week—either through your church, a mission, or someone in need?

Prayer

Lord, thank You for giving me everything I need to serve You. Stir my heart to give willingly and joyfully. May my hands build what glorifies You. Amen.
