“Come out of Babylon—her judgment is near!”
Aim
To understand the fall of Babylon, representing the destruction of the corrupt world system, and to heed God’s call to separate from sin and remain faithful to Him.
God’s Attributes in Revelation 18
- Righteous Judge – God’s justice against wickedness is final (Rev 18:8).
- Sovereign Lord – He controls the rise and fall of nations (Rev 18:20).
- Faithful and True – His promises of judgment and salvation are fulfilled (Rev 18:5).
- All-Powerful – No kingdom or ruler can stand against Him (Rev 18:10).
Facts from Revelation 18
π Babylon falls suddenly and completely – The world’s corrupt system is destroyed in a single hour (Rev 18:2, 10).
π Merchants and kings mourn Babylon’s destruction – The economy collapses, and earthly wealth vanishes (Rev 18:11-17).
π God calls His people to separate from Babylon – “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins” (Rev 18:4).
π The sins of Babylon reach heaven – Her judgment is deserved (Rev 18:5).
π Heaven rejoices over Babylon’s fall – The saints and apostles are vindicated (Rev 18:20).

✔ Evaluate your priorities – Are you investing in the temporary or the eternal?
✔ Stay separate from sin – Do not align with the world’s corruption.
✔ Trust in God’s justice – He will judge wickedness in His time.
✔ Live for God’s kingdom – Store up treasures in heaven, not on earth.
✔ Warn others about coming judgment – Call people to repentance while there is time.

π₯ Repent from any worldly influences – Seek holiness in every area of life.
π₯ Encourage others to turn to Christ – Share the message of salvation.
π₯ Pray for discernment – Ask God to help you recognize and resist worldly temptations.
π₯ Live with eternity in mind – Choose faithfulness over fleeting pleasures.
Prayer
Lord, help me to stay separate from the corruption of this world. Give me discernment to reject sin and wisdom to live for Your eternal kingdom. Strengthen me to remain faithful until the end. Amen.
